Alec, a native New Yorker (And die-hard NY Giants fan) founded FSDashboard with CTO Shawn Haynie in 2005. Alec also coached at Occidental College from 1990-1991 and Alec also served as an assistant coach with the USA Women's Volleyball team during 1990 and 1991.
Alec started American Management Group, a sports marketing agency in 1992, and produced some of the most successful sports collectible shows in Southern California during 1992 and 1993. He then moved the company into representing professional volleyball players, until starting Auctionworks (later renaming it Marketworks) in 1999. Alec grew Marketworks to over $ 6 million in revenue in 2004 with offices in 4 countries before leaving to start FSDashboard in 2005.
