FSDashboard launches ScreamingSports.com, secures $1.25 million in Series A funding
Mangrove Capital Partners backs the leading technology provider for fantasy sports

FSDashboard, the leading technology provider for players of fantasy sports, has launched www.ScreamingSports.com, a next generation social networking site for fantasy sports fans. Screaming Sports incorporates Fantasy Sports Dashboard, the only technology that allows fantasy players to manage all their fantasy teams from multiple fantasy sites on one web page.
Alec Peters, FSDashboard’s co-founder and CEO commented, “FSDashboard has been getting rave reviews for being innovative and incredibly useful to fantasy players. Now, by incorporating it into Screaming Sports, we give sports fans even more reason to come and use our cutting edge tools.”
According to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association there are 15-18 million fantasy players in the USA, and over 9 million who play fantasy football alone. “Sports social networking sites haven’t gained any traction because they are all MySpace clones” said Peters. “Screaming Sports gives fantasy sports fans huge value by letting them do everything they would typically do over many sites on one site, and then adding all the latest social networking functionality. There is a lot of value to be had on our site.”
FSDashboard also announced that it recently closed a $ 1.25 million round of financing with Mangrove Partners of Luxembourg. Mangrove was the first institutional investor in Skype and is one of the most well regarded venture capitalists in Europe.

Mark Tluszcz, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Mangrove has joined the FSDashboard Board. The funding will be used to expand the team and enlarge the base registered users of the site
